Coach Lee Turek and the Lady Maroons

Last season, Coach Turek recorded his 300th coaching victory at Elgin High. The Lady Maroons have won 20 or more games six years out of the last nine. And who could forget 1995-1996, when the Lady Maroons has their finest season in school history -- taking 2nd place in the state finals!! Coach Turek has been selected by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association as Coach of the Year in District #5 numerous times in the last 8 years.
